One of my girlfriends was visiting the wine country the other weekend and she discovered what she now claims to be the best cupcakes she's ever had. Now that's one big statement! I checked out their website, and I was already salivating when reading about the descriptions of their Easter Flavors. But I won't torture you, so here are just the names of their Easter Flavors: Vanilla Jelly Bean, Cinnamon Java Toast, Classic Lemon, Easter Day, Nestled Eggs, and Banana Split. I'll let Ms. Stormy (cute name, huh?) tell you all about these yummy cupcakes and why you should make your cupcake order for Easter now. There is still time...
"Hey,
I was up visiting some friends in the wine country this weekend and had
the BEST cupcakes ever! So I asked where they were from, and my friend
told me that they got them at the velvet crumb,
an online gourmet cupcake boutique in Santa Rosa, California—who
doesn't love wine country & cupcakes?! They make everything to
order and have the yummiest flavors and cutest themes, and they will
even customize for any event and deliver locally for FREE.
Unfortunately, I do not live in the wine country, so I did a little
research and found that they will actually ship these fffabulous cupcakes
all over the country. Imagine treats on your doorstep when you get
home—yum. One of my favorites were the cupcakes-on-a-stick, ideal for
those of us who cannot stop at one and still need to watch our figure.
Yes, I'm having these shipped to me, and I cannot wait to get home!
And I thought I'd share the Cupcake Etiquette I found on the velvet crumb website; this is cute and quite a great excuse to eat more cupcakes...one has to practice: There is a proper way to eat a cupcake?! Licking the frosting off of the top? I don't think so! To properly enjoy a true cupcake, one must approach the task with elegance and grace. Start by gently unwrapping the entire cupcake; using a fork, carefully slice a piece from the cupcake making sure to balance the frosting to cake ratio, place fork gracefully in mouth, chewing lightly until the cake is soft and the frosting has coated your mouth; repeat until finished. Now for the rest of us less socialized cupcake connoisseurs: unwrap, bite into cupcake making sure to get frosting all over our upper lip and nose, chew slowly and enjoy!"
