I don't like to be cold. In fact, I love being warm, but still be trendy; a girl needs to keep her priorities straight, right?

Can someone tell me why I like nice, expensive jeans? I am lucky I can
wear jeans at work and if I could, I'd own one trendy pair for
each day of the week (to be renewed every season of course).
Last October, a couple of girlfriends and I went shopping and, having bought 3 pair of jeans the previous day (click here for more details), I was forbidden to try anything that look like a nice pair of trendy jeans, poor me! So I watched the ladies try all those fancy jeans, and I had time to appreciate how cute the anlo jeans look. The anlo jeans are long, super dark, which is perfect for winter time and to look professional at the office, and have a touch of fanciness with those button details. And they do make a great butt. Maybe I'll go back and try a couple, just to see...

This Remix lulu Hoodie is in my opinion another lululemon athletica must-have. I call it the city version of the lululemon Dance Studio Jacket. It is short and fitted with long sleeves to stay warm... and it is really really comfy. It exists in a ton of fun colors (and they release new colors all the time) so you can go crazy with their bright senorita pink color or stay classic by sticking to the ivory color. I love them all!
I bought my lululemon hoodie 3 years ago, and it still looks brand new - it is preshrunk so the zipper won't buckle and it'll still fit as if you've just bought it. I love wearing my hoodie with a nice pair of jeans on weekends. And I get lots of compliments from guys when I wear it; isn't it saying something?

I've heard of Montblanc pens for as far as I can remember. This is one of those brands that everyone knows. It is common to see coworkers use a Montblanc pen to take notes at work, very classy! A couple of years ago, Montblanc launched the Starwalker line, known for having the Montblanc floating star in a transparent cap top. I just love it! It gives Montblanc a very modern touch and, in my opinion, the floating star in the transparent cap top doesn't make it that obvious that it is a Montblanc pen. My very favorite is the Montblanc Starwalker Black Platinum pen

I've never enjoyed a women's magazine more than O, The Oprah Magazine.
I love it that it features real women, who model affordable clothes that
you can actually wear and find in the store next door (I got
inspired to buy the perfect pair of Chanel sandals three years ago, and I
still wear them in the summertime). I also enjoy reading peoples' AHA! moment (this one from Regina King is right on!) and Oprah's What I Know For Sure and browsing through my very
favorite section of the magazine: the O list - this is where I found Dewdrop So Write...Cube stationary, after all.
If you have a girlfriend who is not -yet- addicted to O, The Oprah Magazine, give her the gift of this magazine. She'll thank you for it month after month!

I love Sharon Segal tees. I only discovered them a week ago at romi boutique, and I think I may end up spending more money on those amazing tees than I've ever spent on all pairs of jeans I bought this year. I know, that's a scary thought! So I went back to the boutique last night and tried out a couple of Sharon Segal tees (you have to go there as soon as a shipment arrives because those tees fly out like no other). I tried on this Sharon Segal long sleeve zebra print scoop neck tee in blue (I like blue, it looks great with blue jeans) and I totally fell for it. It's so comfy and soft, and won't stretch with the 50% pima cotton/50% micro modal mix. And it's unique, cute and WILD. Did I tell you the zebra print is my very favorite after the leopard print?
And it'd be the perfect gift for your sister, niece or girlfriend this Christmas. You'd totally look like the coolest sister, aunt or girlfriend ever!

I bought a very nice BCBG gray cashmere sweater last year; I did wear it all winter long last year, and I still enjoy wearing it these days. Good thing that gray is the new black this season! A friend of mine mentioned to me that she just got this Vince cashmere sweater. It looks exactly like my BCBG sweater, with the very convenient advantage that you can actually order it and that it's also on sale for $185.50 (instead of $265). Yeah!
I love this cowl neck sweater because it is different from any other sweaters and versatile: You can wear it in a very sexy way, as pictured...or not. And it is so soft!

Have you tried the Sharon Segal tees? I tried them for the first
time on Sunday, and they are truly the best!!! After trying a few tees, I fell for a vneck
tee in a very nice burgundy color and a black long sleeve crew neck tee (nice black tees always come handy). They fit perfectly, are super long, which is ideal if you like wearing low-rise jeans, and are super soft (trust me on that one), comfy and overall totally amazing. All of this makes you forget how freaking expensive they are!
These tees do fit big and are a bit stretchy with 50% pima cotton/50% micro modal so get a smaller size than you usually get; light-color tees are sheer so I recommend you wear them as a layering piece. And if you like a shape and color, go get them because they sell like crazy.

Literally! The other day, a girlfriend mentioned to me these cute boot trees, and I thought it was the best idea ever. I am the proud owner of fancy and expensive boots (!), and the last thing I want is see them get all wrinkly and out of shape everytime I get to wear them. I went to the Blues Jean Bar last month (oh really?) and I got the biggest crush on an amazing pair of jeans: the 1921 jeans (code name: LS018-SCD). They are so comfy and so sexy!!! They are dark with fading worn areas and long as I like to wear them, i.e. 34 inch inseam, with flare legs. To add to this, they make a great butt -as my fitting room neighbor pointed out, a smaller one too because of the strategically placed back
pockets- and they make you look skinny. And every time I wear them, I get compliments, from
my most fashionable girlfriend (now that's a compliment) to my mum! If I were you I'd get them too.

I love going to the Blues Jean Bar in San Francisco. It is set up as a bar, but instead of ordering drinks, you order the style of
jeans you want: long, fitted, boot cut, skinny, dark vs. light wash, you name
it! They always have the latest brands of the fffabulous world of denim, and as
you try them out, they see how each brand fits you and pull new
ones that really match your style, physic and taste better.
I usually go once or twice a year (going more frequently would have a very bad effect on my bank account), and each time I get lucky with the best, trendiest, hottest pair of jeans on the market. Three years ago, I discovered Rock and Republic. Those cute jeans that are so long I can wear them to clubs with my 4-inch heels! Two years ago, I tried out a 575 pair of jeans and I ended up wearing it all winter that year; I even ordered the exact same pair last year and wore it for another winter. I only get compliments when I wear them.
This year, I tried a few pairs and really really loved those brands: Paige Denim, People's Liberation, Joe's, J Brand, and my very favorite, 1921 jeans.

I want UGG boots. It took me a couple of years -and a stay in London last week where I literally turned into an icecube- to get to that conclusion... I am now sure I want a pair of these cool cozy boots. They'll look great with a pair of jeans, they'll make my legs look super skinny (don't we all love that type of optical illusion big shoes can do to your figure?) and they'll keep me warm. And I promise I won't wear them this summer with a mini-skirt.
Fortunately for us, UGG boots come is all shapes and colors. I am leaning towards a pair of Classic Tall UGG boots in Sand though. It'll look perfect with my Vuitton purses and accessories!

I also love the Manolo Blahnik patent leather open toe mary jane (pictured here) at $380, instead of $585. They'd look gorgeous with a black pencil skirt or a pair of skinny jeans. The Manolo Blahnik pointed toe high-heel pump in black is also a classic that can be worn all year round with a pair of jeans or that little black dress. I used to be addicted to Chanel Rouge Noir. This is an almost-black shade of red that looks so sexy and dramatic on toenails (and this is celebrities' favorite.)
Last April, one of my girlfriends showed up at her bachelorette party with finger- and toenails painted in the perfect shade of brown, not too light, not too dark. It looked cute, sophisticated and sexy. What else can a lady ask for? I had to borrow it and I eventually bought the OPI Oh To Be 25 Again! nail polish (don't you love the name?). I wore it over and over again last summer. And, I think it is the still the perfect color for this winter and the holiday season.

Personally, I am very happy H&M made it to the US. They represent with a few other European brands what European fashion is all about and how women there stay on top of fashion trends all year round. Their secret (or what I think make them attractive): Very trendy pieces of clothes at very low price. There is no more drama with getting this leopard satin shirt that makes you look oh-so-sexy on the dancefloor; it is cheap, it'd be worn a couple of times this season, and that's it. And to make us even happier, H&M partners with hot designers to offer tops, dresses, coats and lingerie you wouldn't be able to afford in this lifetime otherwise: my mum tried to get me a Stella McCartney for H&M or Karl Lagerfeld for H&M top (any top!) back in the day without any success. This year, you'll find Roberto Cavalli at H&M. Hurry up, it started on November 8th, and features leopard and zebra prints - the way I like it!
