One of my colleagues received this beautiful Blooming Daisies™ fruit assortment last week (I heard the pineapple was delicious), and I thought this was the sweetest and most original gift idea ever! Of course, these fruit arrangements are quite expensive, but think about it for a minute: flowers perish and don't feed you, while a big box of chocolates can cost you countless hours at the gym, and if you eat the whole box, a new pair of jeans (now that's my excuse to go shopping for yet another pair of jeans, ha!). Okay, I like to exaggerate just a bit (and I do like flowers and big boxes of chocolate) but I had to prove my point that this is still a terrific gift idea for Valentine's Day (the You Had Me at Fruit™ Sweetheart bouquet filled with fresh strawberries hand dipped in gourmet chocolate is quite exquisite), to bring to a garden party or as a thank you present.
