I've tried to get Kate to jump on the designer jeans wagon for a couple of months now. I've been praising the benefits/advantages/virtues/you name it! of Citizens of Humanity jeans, because Citizens of Humanity (COH) are the brand to get if you've never owned a pair of designer jeans. COH fit everyone's body type, they make the greatest butt EVER, and they are versatile enough to be worn at work, during a night around town, and on weekends. When Kate told me she was 8 weeks pregnant, I didn't give up on my 'you've got to get a pair of designer jeans' credo. I knew that COH offer great maternity jeans for mommy-to-be fffashionistas...am I not resourceful, or what? I sent her the link right away, and, next thing you know, Kate and I were on a mission to figure out what COH size she was so that she could order her maternity Citizens. Kate tried the Citizens Faye and the Citizens Kelly and ended up picking the Citizens Kelly (the best classic fit of all, in my opinion). Next, she figured out what her regular size in Citizens was and concluded that she had to order one size bigger for her maternity jeans (but this can vary based on how your bootie/thighs 'react' during your pregnancy). Ever since she's received her maternity jeans, Kate just can't stop raving about them:
"After following miss fffabulous' suggestion, I bought a pair of Citizens of Humanity Kelly Maternity Jeans and wore them every single day last week. They can be dressed up or down and make you feel pretty hot when you're starting to show and looking frumpy in loose-fitting clothes. The best part for me is that they are nice and long, which makes them work well with boots or wedges and they can be rolled up to wear with flats. Like all maternity pants, I find that they need to be pulled up periodically during the day, but I think this should happen less as I get further along (I'm at 12 wks right now). Thank you miss fffabulous for your recommendation - I am really happy with them! -Kate"
And watch out for our first fffabulous baby week ever on fffabulous.com. It's right around the corner!
