Let's get back to reality a bit, and talk about things that are a bit more affordable than a Louis Vuitton carry-on. LeSportsac Large Weekender is another bag I can't travel without. It is light, sturdy, and so stylish. You can pack it in your luggage in case you need an extra bag on your way back (yay! for shopping), you can use it as an overnight bag, or simply to carry stuff around, including but not limited to your workout gear. But what I like most about this bag is that it comes in a large variety of fabrics, colors and patterns, so you can pick the design that fits your personality best (Bonus point: you'll recognize it right away on the baggage carousel at the airport). I personally love the Love U More pattern, spécial édition (pictured here). It's cute without being too much, and it reminds me so much of the Sonia Rykiel pink stripe pattern. Lovely!

Louis Vuitton recently released the Pegase 55 in Monogram Canvas, and I am totally gaga over it. If you're always on the road for business (or pleasure) and love beautiful yet practical things, the Pegase 55 is THE carry-on to get. First and foremost, this rolling suitcase is sturdy: the monogram canvas can't get scratched, the self-locking telescopic handle, leather handles and wheels will stand the test of time, and it comes with an easy-to-attach protective sleeve that completely covers the case (except for the handles and wheels) if you decide to check it in. Also, just like any other LV item, this piece of luggage is beautifully designed to make packing easier and smarter: it has one pocket on the front of the suitcase for your laptop, iPad and/or magazines; it also has one flat inside zipped pocket, two clothing protection flaps with zipped pockets, and one additional zip pocket for toiletries. That's four inside zipped pockets total. I like! And last but not least, it comes with a removable garment cover/hanger. Yes, you read that right—it comes with its own LV hanger! All in all, this baby ain't cheap but it's fffabulous and it'll last you a lifetime. You’ll just have to find new excuses to travel the world. Tough life!

I never thought I’d wear foundation until I tried a sample of La Mer Treatment Fluid Foundation SPF 15 a couple of months ago. Its texture is light and creamy, and makes your skin silky smooth. It doesn't dry your skin; it doesn’t make it greasy either. In fact, you just look like an enhanced photoshopped version of yourself. Not bad, huh? I like to combine it with La Mer moisturizing lotion for a flawless finish.

OPI My Private Jet is THE nail polish color to wear this holiday season. It is dark grey without being too dark, and features microscopic flecks of metallic glitter. The Lululemon Live Simply Jacket is one fffabulous jacket. It is comfy, cozy and warm, and so flattering with its long fitted look. I also have a big crush on the thumbholes: they keep my hands warm and the sleeves in place. All in all, it's the perfect jacket to lounge around or to wear after a workout. Exists in beautiful neutral colors, including black, dark classic sport grey, and classic sport grey, and in bright blue. This jacket runs a bit small so go up one size. It makes the perfect gift, too.

While we are on the trend wagon, I thought I'd mention another fffabulous trend that is going on on the other side of the Atlantic. One of my very good friends is spending a few months in Paris (lucky her!), and reported that shiny puffer jackets are quite popular there; in fact, they are everywhere! And I bet you they're gonna be very trendy over here by next year. So if you're planning a trip to Paris for the holidays (why wouldn't you?), make sure you pack a fffancy shiny puffer jacket. I had to stop a woman in the street to ask her where she got these boots. And I wasn't surprised to hear they were Michael Kors boots. Are you surprised to hear that this dress is an Elizabeth and James dress? I'm not!
