It's Christmas all over again. Australia Luxe Collective is having a sale on Gilt Groupe, and my favorite boots are on sale for $229 instead of $425. I bought my Vixen tall boots three years ago, and to this day, they are my go-to sheepskin boots. They are knee high (so trendy!!), comfy, and different from any pair of sheepskin boots out there. Go down one or two sizes as they run big and do stretch quite a bit.

Jamais deux sans trois. The Bloch patent ballerina flats in pumice are another wardrobe staple. Love the classic style. Love the nude color. Love how comfy they are--just like any other Bloch ballet flats I own. These Bloch ballerina flats are all around perfect for spring. They fit true to size.

These Frye Shirley strappy boots are the perfect pair of riding boots; and when I say perfect, I really mean PERFECT. They are classic in every way possible, the tan color is yummy, and the leather wrap around strap is such a cute detail. And they are comfy, too. These riding boots fit true to size.

miu miu platform heels

These Miu Miu platform pumps are the hottest black pumps to wear this season. Vicky got them over the holidays and I don't think I've seen her wear anything else since. These black pumps are sexy, comfy, and look equally gorgeous with a pair of skinny jeans or a little black dress. A wardrobe staple. They fit true to size.

when it rains...

It's rainy out. But it doesn't mean we have to trade style for comfort, right? I'm still on the lookout for the perfect pair of stylish rain-proof boots, and this pair of BCBG patent leather boots may just be the answer. Love the style, the patent leather, and the tiny wedge heel. The only issue is that they are from two collections ago. Damn! Time to hit eBay, or look for a similar pair online. What are your go-to boots on rainy days?

 

the perfect black bootie

A pair of black booties is a wardrobe staple. And when they are Chanel, that's even better. I love the classic black suede look with the signature patent cap toe. Only experts would know these are Chanel, and that's better that way; I'm personally not a big fan of obvious/'in your face' designer logo. The platform also makes the 105mm heel more manageable. Yay for comfort. To wear over and over for many many years, at work and to go out. Even better if you pair these with the Louis Vuitton Hortensia black sunglasses for a sophisticated look.

These B Brian Atwood Suede Colorblock Pumps are fun. hot. perfection. And, they just made it to the top of my Christmas list. Hint hint! To wear with pretty much anything, day and night. That's right, they'll look equally fffabulous with your favorite pair of washed out skinny jeans and a basic white tee or a classic little black dress. Just be ready to get an avalanche of compliments when you wear them.

TOMS leopard fleece slip-ons

I saw a girl wear these TOMS shoes in leopard print at Starbucks in LA, and I couldn't help but think these looked fffabulous. Wear leopard AND do good? Sign me up!

One piece of advice though: these can't be mixed with anything else leopard. You've been warned.

Animal print is hotter than ever this season, and when a brand as fffabulous (and as comfy) as Bloch is doing it, it's a beautiful thing. The Carina snake-print leather ballerina flats in grapphite are the classiest flats for the fall. They will go with pretty much anything, and will spice up any black outfit (read: black leggings, a little black dress, etc.). They are also the comfiest flat around, so you'll be able to walk miles in them and still look stylish. They fit true to size.

Other Bloch favorites include the Lucy ballet flats and the Lux ballet flats. They are equally comfy and fffabulous.

The K Jacques Picon Kampal Sandals in snake-print patent leather are fffabulous. First and foremost, they are handmade in Saint-Tropez, which is crazy cool. Then, they are your classic sandals you can wear everyday with skinny jeans and a white tee, or a long black dress. You can pick from a large variety of colors, which can be tricky because you'd want them all. They fit true to size.

As much as I love the Stuart Weitzman Alex Espadrille Sandals in Swamp Crochet (they go with literally everything), the brown/black color combo is equally exquisite, and will be a great addition to any wardrobe. Spotted at the Intermix store in the Meatpacking District in NYC. NYC is so dangerous!!

I love the Stuart Weitzman Alex Espadrille Sandals in Swamp Crochet. And not just because they are Jennifer Aniston's go-to espadrille wedges. These espadrille sandals are PERFECTION. They are extremely comfy, flattering to the leg with the criss-cross ankle strap, and will go with absolutely everything. And they are so classic, they'll never go out of style. They do fit true to size, and are available in tons of different colors.

I love Pierre Hardy. And, I looove these Pierre Hardy Suede Wedge Sandals. The wood wedge heel, the suede fabric, the green color, and the big buckles are beautifully combined to create a pair of trendy yet feminine wedge sandals. They'll look great with a pair of jeans and a white tank top, or a floral dress. They run a bit small so get one size bigger than you usually wear, i.e. if you're an 8, get size 39.

fiorentini + baker boots

The cool thing about visiting NYC is that it would be a sacrilege to be there and not buy shoes. So I bought shoes, a lot of them. I happened to stumble upon the Fiorentini + Baker store while wandering in Soho. I've always wanted a pair of F+B. Their boots are en vogue—in addition to being practical and comfy, and all the celebrities wear them. There are a million styles to choose from, but the choice was easy. They had just received the #713 style (pictured here) so I snatched a pair before they even put them on display. Lucky me! The #713 are short boots with two buckles, and are perfect to wear with shorts and skinny jeans. Interestingly enough, they look great with dresses and skirts, too. And the beige suede color is a great neutral color that goes with absolutely everything.

The sizing is tricky. They do run big, so get one size smaller than you usually get. For reference, I am an 8.5 and size 38 was still too loose. I decided to go with size 37, which seemed crazy at the time, but they do fit perfectly.
